Description
it started with a cinderthat smoldered beneath my skin
one burning little ember
was how it did begin
a fire lit inside me
with flames so white with heat
and it crept along my fingers
and from my head down to my feet
I became but ashes
when your fire did burn out
a girl became a tortured frame
my body a ruined house
and now the wind has swept me
from the east coast to the west
all evidence erased
in one wily tempest

It's great how you maintain the flow within the narrative, the blend between the two is just perfect.

awesome poem! I like the metaphors.
sometimes rhyming can make poems sound weird or silly but not in this one. nice job!

Well thank you, and I know what you mean about the rhyming thing, which is why I used to never write poems that rhymed but lately everythings just sort of been coming out that way. It's a little strange haha. But anyways, thanks so much for taking the time to comment.
