New character, Nico! I adore this little guy, he's so cute! He's very quiet and very much a loner. He doesn't get on well with other merpeople. (He's a merman of the Siren type, but he thinks her a common mer.) He loves to lick windows! Sounds weird, but in his part of the sea, they use an unknown sugary substance as window on their houses, and Nico just loves it! It's annoys his neighbours though when he starts licking their windows!

Very nice coloring, and the expression is well drawn, carries a lot of emotional weight and makes me wonder what happened in his life to give him such a sad face.
It would have been better to have the hair fall in front of his eyes rather than behind; it looks strange becuase you seem to be striving for realism in this portrait and throwing a physical imposibility like that in there takes away from an otherwise strong image. It would have only added to the emotional leval of the image.
