Yay! She looks like Mexican Barbie with that funky hair-do!Illustration to the Mexican fairy-tale, The Greenish Bird! I love that it's called that, and not The Green Bird!
It's about a young girl called Luisa who stays at home sewing while her mean ol' sisters spend all their time in bars. On day, a green bird lands on her window sill and speaks to her, but she's to shy to look at it. When she does, it turns into a handsome prince, and they fall in love. Her sisters get jealous, and put knives on the window sill, so the prince/bird is injured and has to return. So Luisa has to go on a quest to find his castle, while he gets leprosy to avoid getting married to another girl. She finds him, and her music cures him of leprosy or something, then he tells everyone in the castle to make him some chocolate, and the person who makes the best chocolate, he will marry, which is Luisa, of course! X3!

...I think you're actually getting better at coloring. You were so good to begin with, though, so this is really mind boggingly awesome.
I've never heard that fairy tale, but it sounds good, and this looks awesome! I really love the coloring on this, especially on her hair.

I have said this so many times about you and your art work, I fear that it may sound insincere. However, I do truly mean it when I say that you are reaching a new level of artistic ability. I can easily imagine this illustration being the cover of a book or in a periodical featuring young, new, talented artists.
I am so pleased by your efforts and can only imagine what kind of person that you are inside. Yours must be a colorful soul bursting with light that reflects the loving peace that you feel deep within your heart.
I can only wish you the best and hope that you may be able to continue your artistic efforts; Most of all, I pray that you will share again and again what you accomplish in the arts.

Such an adorable story!! It reminds me of a russian story about a blue bird or so, and evil sisters who placed mirror shards in its nest so he couldn't visit their sister any more T_T
