Just weeks after Piyo turned eleven, a blood moon rose and brought upon a swarm of monsters that overwhelmed the fledgling and swallow during one excursion.

Vhintlian scouts would find Piyo the next morning: alone, in dire condition, and forever changed.

Piyo was introverted but kind-hearted for most of their time in Vhintl. After that blood moon, however, Piyo withdrew into themselves. Their adoptive family within a Rito woman named Sitka, her son Rahi, and their Zora guardian Lahahana, had been sheltering them since.

Nowadays, years after the fact, Piyo can be found slowly reintegrating into Vhintl: fluttering within the trees, never straying too far from the nest they share with their new family, and never one to stand extended conversations. They seem afraid to make strong connections at the moment, preferring to attempt to burn bridges before they can form.
Healing takes time. It looks like Piyo needs more of that.
