Please view full size if you can :3 It's got a lot of detail to it :3 (but it's huuuuuuge). Haha. Anyways, this is Frances, who belongs to ~Kardeen . She's a demoness warrior leader - and she will kick your ass. This was done over a period of 3 weeks (I lost track of the hours) and the majority of it was recorded and posted to youtube :3 you can find links to the video in my gallery under Videos. ANYHOODLE: So I freaking love this. Her face is so enchanting, and the way you've had her hair frame it is just lovely. The outfit is sassy, sexy, and still, in an odd way, modest (it could simply be the pose you chose). UNF DAT FACE. The only thing that bothers me is that foot on our left, but I know that that's an extremely awkward angle to work with (stupid feet!

Now that I have a day off I can FINALLY comment!! I am really impressed with what you've done with her. She is a sexualized person, but you've made her more demure and her sexuality is just her not in the costume, which is what I always try to portray. (even though she is a nudist, her favorite past time is strolling around in the buff in public. Apparenly clothing is stuffy.o.O) I love her hair, yeah it looks ruddy but that's the lighting. I love that you kept the details from the boots of her, I guess we'll call "classic" look. The combination of her different outfits has really made this a strong piece. Once I get more ink you'll have to see what I've done with the four Chaos Guardians. You've really brought them to life. The details are fascinating. This is why I love having you do commissions, if only you worked on larger projects!!

awwies thank you kardeen! I'm so glad you like how she turned out. haha it was kind of fun to take her in a different direction from what you've always done and see how it turned out.. I think in this particular piece she's more concentrated on the war aspect of her personality than her sexualized one - or at least that's what i'm going for.. instead of thinking about seduction she's concentrating on ending someone's life - so while she's still very sexual and gorgeous, she doesn't come across as uber-sexualized this time around. haha the detailes ate my life for a couple of weeks, but I think in the end they made it better ^^ I wasn't expecting it to take so long, but I think if you compare this one to the previous ones i've done for you you'll see the skill level jumped a notch with the effort :3 I'm glad you like her :3

her face and hair are gorgeous and the costume is neat. I like the shadows cast by the sword and her tail.
only thing that bugs me is the crease of flesh on the hip on the viewer's right. the angle of her body makes it look fine on the viewer's left, but the right side it just doesnt look like I expect it to. not that Ive studied a lot of naked hips.. it may just be a flaw in my expectation.

And, if you don't mind my asking, what did you size this to? Cause I like to have my best/fave works able to be prints, and I'm STARTING to understand how to size them, but so far I only got a few able to be Photo Prints in the smallest size. .-.

i hate foreshortening >.< her right arm looks short but I know that's how it's supposed to be done. Brain, take a cookie and rest.
I love the colors! they blend and match so nicely, and the backlighting is powerful just enough to make her stand out perfectly. The attachment(?) of the right wing to her back seemed weird at first but that's just 'cus I'm not used to it.
Me wants a pair of those boots xD I wouldn't even wear them, just keep them on display. Her arm/sleeve thingy is also cool >3

She doesn't look like the kind of person who would show it off too much (I dunno the references and profile so I'm basing it on your work xD)

haha I'm the same way with forshortening and I haven't quite got the hang of it yet XD it seems so odd to draw something but smoosh it together in such a small space like it requires. Haha thank you :3 I know what you mean about the sexualization thing - it's so easy to take such an obviously well-built character who's gorgeous to boot and then make her super-sexual and skanky... but my forte always lies more with sexy in an understated way rather than the overtly sexual :3 She's sexy... but she doesn't have to try at it :3 hehe. I have no idea about the patience thing. This was three weeks of work and by the end of last night my eyes wanted to bleed. I just took it one step at a time and eventually it was done, but there were deffinitely moments where I flailed and went "omgosh there's so much left to do T_T" lol
