A little more of our news. I really want to share with you the most difficult page in history. Just below is a spread of the city of Xenopolis from the third chapter of the Bioroids comic. On this page we introduce the reader to the features of the city and present a visual concept. Here you can notice that each of the city districts has a dominant color, as well as the profile and characteristics of these districts, manifested in detail.

Work on this spread began with a phrase from Oleg Zhuravsky, who draws the line for the comic. He uttered a sacramental phrase - I want it to be cooler than in Akira. Well, challenge accepted. I prepared the concepts of buildings, advertising and other details, screenwriter Irena Darovskaya wrote the texts, Oleg diligently drew. After about three weeks, the spread was ready, and we had to show the front of the work to our colorist, Ksenia Bespalova. It’s not hard to guess that it was possible to catch up and surpass Akira in terms of the number of parts, and that’s putting it mildly. You can judge the result yourself. The fruit of the crazy work of many people, made by hand. Most likely, we will not repeat such experiments. But to show off, we even printed this spread as a painting and brought it to #Starcon2023 . The photo shows yours truly hanging it up before the start of the festival.
