Alright you got me, i always draw his legs a bit long 
If you want him really short just ignore how long i've drawn his legs and draw them shorter, kay? 
You asked for it. So now you got it.

LoLWellz, this be a tutorial on how to draw Zim, and i'm very proud of it.
It's one of the only tutorials here that actually 'draw' it out for you so you can see how i do the stokes and stuff. Hopefully it'll be useful to some people or at least entertaining. I sooo sososo had so much more stuff i wanted to add in, but i got lazy on the last part plus i didn't want the file size to get any bigger 
Um, there's only music on the intro part and like two wavs throughout the rest, so not that much sound. The music is part of a fan made IZ song that someone made (i think it's called Bass Kittens: Invader Zim Techno Remix or something like that) which i downloaded.

I tried it once, and started too low on my paper so I could only fit in like a teeny tiny bit of his legs.....<<
Then I tried again and did....ok....I'll post my tries when I get a scanner, crediting you, of course.

Ahah you should have seen all my earlier tries...the head always came out munted, so i had like pages of munted head shapes that had no bodies or anything

The heads are quite difficult....there's a distinct shape to them which had never been used in cartoon before (that I know of). It's still amazingly done, in a good style.

Haha, your first Zim looked like an angel compared to mine! Mine looked like a frog from doom land. XD I love it, and this REALLY helped me on working with hands and such.

I think that people sometimes need reminding that they'll get better through practice, and that not everyone who they think can draw well started off actually drawing well lol

I just want to say, I have NEVER picked up a pencil in my life and I gave a shot at drawing Zim with this tutorial...
