"Why yes, we're all brothers."So say Leo, Donny, Raph and Mikey
I've seen a few interpretations of what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would look like as humans, so here's my contribution
You can probaby tell who is who (seriously, they're colour coded! XD). And the skin colours are based off the shades of green the turtles are in the 2003 cartoon (which rocks something hardcore...until they get to the FF series anyway).
Raph has dreadlocks and if I had given Donny more visible freckles and redder hair he could probably pass off as a Weasley
I tried to make it different from the others out there...have i succeeded?
I have been wanting to do a TMNT (based) pic ever since the new movie came out. Shut up.

Donny is the lost Weasley!
I love how you based their human skin colors off of the different shades of their different shades of green in the 2003 cartoon. Very unique, I've never seen that done before! I also like the hair colors - usually Donny has brown hair, Leo black hair, and Raph is either black or dark red/organge.

Technically you might have noticed in this pic that none of them look related at all XD
Well 2k3 cartoon gave them all different skin tones so i just followed with the appropriate human versions lol.

Awesomeness! I love how you actually made them like a bunch of American boys. I can totally see each one's personality coming out. Love Mikey, and it's cool that you made Raph a little more "from the Hood". Great pic!

Lol ever see the old chinese movies like Wong Fei Hung? Nearly all the masters have this long braid of some sort, so i just emulated it for Leo.

altho i dunno if it's just me but i always thought for human mikey to have short hair (short as in he has shorter bangs), but i cant quite decide/imagine his hair style. x_X imagination... phail....

Really nice. I love the way you made them all different. Someone brought up a point not long ago that although they're brothers, that doesn't mean they're genetically related so if turned into humans they might look very different! I love Raph tatoo and I think you really captured their personalities well in the poses and expressions! Awesome job! I actually like Fast Forward. hehehe. But I do wish they'd kept the drawing style the same. Stupid buget cuts!

*sigh* You know, shows nowadays want a large fanbase, but do they ever stop to think that if they put more quality into their work they would have it? I mean I liked FF alright, (Torbin Zix is my FAVORITE) but it felt like so much of the grit and grime and crime got lost with the newer art style. *shrugs* eeh..sorry. Didn't mean to get of on a rant.

Once they got to the future type of storyline, everything was just so shiny and high tech it didn't have the same feel of NY grit i'm so used to from the "original" TMNT storyline they had going. I was actually quite disappointed with their weapons (dude! Don's bo could deflect bullets) and the fact they seemed to be trying to pander to a younger audience with all the stereotypes they were trying to get in to (like stereotypical body shapes for the turtles - Raph being massive and Mikey small etc) D|

I think they could have done the fast forward storyline without making it so shiny cause I remember the space episodes they did. Those had really high tech things in them, really futuristic weapons and aliens and such, but it still had a really gritty feel. So I think if it hadn't been for price cuts (cause I think the style they used was actually something called Fusion. Mixing anime and american style together, and it costs less.) they could have done the same thing there and made it pretty gritty. I mean they had dark stuff to work with. Mercenaries, slave trade, gangsters, they coulda really gone into stuff. Like they Black Blade? We never got to see much about what that was. (though me and a friend are doing a series where you do.) and the slave trade stuff and just everything. It could have been pretty dark considering.
I know! Their weapons were kinda...yeah. I'm surprised they didn't liberate their old weapons! I mean c'mon! Leo loves his swords so much! I just can't see him as abandoning them that easily for something else. They definately seemed to be pandering to a younger audience. Especially with the whole It's Ninja time! Mikey saying that, I can see. Raph and Leo and Don? NO. Just no! And I liked them being the same size instead of smaller and bigger. Gave more of a...how do I put this...real feeling to it I guess. Cause working out more does not make you taller, ie, Raph. And quite frankly I wanted more angst! All their friends are dead now! They're used to being shunned by society! C'mon! Give us something! Plus Donny had been in the future before! There's gotta be a part of him that was a little freaked out about being in another future!
