Description "Why yes, we're all brothers."
So say Leo, Donny, Raph and Mikey

I've seen a few interpretations of what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would look like as humans, so here's my contribution

You can probaby tell who is who (seriously, they're colour coded! XD). And the skin colours are based off the shades of green the turtles are in the 2003 cartoon (which rocks something hardcore...until they get to the FF series anyway).

Raph has dreadlocks and if I had given Donny more visible freckles and redder hair he could probably pass off as a Weasley

I tried to make it different from the others out there...have i succeeded?

I have been wanting to do a TMNT (based) pic ever since the new movie came out. Shut up.

Thank you! Yes! It is nice to give them different skin tones, it gives them a bit more variety whilst also considering the different greens they all were. Definitely think Leo would be like Japanese or something and really follow in Splinter's footsteps lol. Mikey was modelled after those stereotypical surfer dudes from California that you see in movies

Thanks! ^^ He was actually the first one i "knew" what human design to give haha (he's my faaave <3). I like the thought of Raph with dark skin, it just seems more fitting to me somehow

Seriously... How likely would it actually be that all (if any) of the turtles would be white guys.
Leo is obviously Asian, Raph and Mikey come off as black to me because of their skin tones and how they talk to each other. And Donnie could really look good as any race, and if any turtle would be white it would probably be him, but I usually see him as Indian/middle-eastern because him and his brothers as white guys is just SOOOO overdone!

I know I'm kind of three years old for the party, but OMG, my thoughts exactly! I went to google some of the pics and was like 'wait, what, why are all of them white?'. Raph being black and Leo being Asian are such headcanons for me that I don't think I could accept anything else at this point (which is kind of ridiculous since it isn't in any way actual canon, but still). Mikey I usually pictured as blond, but not necessarily a natural or white-skinned one (he could easily be black and dyed blond, and you are right that being black just fits him better). I also agree that Don is the only one easily picturable as any race really.Β 

This now has me geniunely wishing for a spinoff of turtles turning human, and not white ones at that.

It's always nice for a bit of variety. Whenever i humanise things i usually go with whatever skin shade they might seem to have as well, so in this case Raph is the darkest, Leo had that olive tint and i think Donny was the lightest. And of course when you just go via their personalities too sometimes like Mikey was stereotypical California surfer bum type of dude so yeah...XD Donny as Indian/Middle-Eastern is pretty neat too though.

Yeah, I originally saw donnie as white. But after seeing everyone drawing him (and his brothers) as exclusively white I decided to give him the next most fitting choice in my opinion.

Thanks very much! I had a ton of fun trying to see what i could come up with in terms of human design (Raph's my fave too, but then again that's easy because he's my fave turtle lol I do like how the 2k3 cartoon made their skin shades different, it rather helped). Maybe i'll draw them again one day now that i can draw humans a bit better |D

Err, not everyone does lol. I've seen a lot of humanised pictures where he's either Caucasian or Asian looking.
I like the thought of him dark skinned because 1) that's just how his accent sounds to me and 2) he is a darker green than everyone else in 2k3
