I like this alot, so detailed and seems perfectly semetrical.. It reminds me of Alex Grey's artwork.

Hi 'Terraborian'. Thank you for the comment AND the fave. I wasn't aware of Alex Grey's work until I got your message, but I am now! I'm afraid the symmetry is 'cheated' in Adobe Photoshop, but I hope it doesn't spoil your appreciation of my drawing.

no I actually realized that just after I sent that commert. I was going to ask you, but seriously either way its really good. I dont think it matteres if artists cheat a little to get the final product, unless I guess you do some plagurism or something. For example, my mom is really good at drawing portraits of real people, but she uses an overhead projector to get the basic proportions of everything, and then go from there. So its all good. What do you think of Alex Grey's work?

Hi Mike, you're right, the ends justify the means (in art at least!), and anyone who says different is just being pretentious. And I rarely draw 'real life' now, but I used to do very similar things to your Mom, light boxes and tracings etc for the basic proportions etc. As to Alex Grey, I did really like his stuff, but some of it's a bit colourful for my (Morbid) taste as I usually prefer more sombre monochromatic stuff. Thank you again for the comment.

I really like the details and shading. Nice symmetry and fine structure. The faces are well rendered. Great looking teeth.

Thank you tiamat9. I genuinely didn't think this one, rather than some of the others, would get as many comments. I'm pleased you like it.

I like this one too... I love the complexity of it, how you formed it all together and the shading but most of all I love the empty spaces like towards the bottom where the open mouth in the middle has that thin gap all along its teeth... very pleasant to view~

Thank you WinterOfDecay. I very nearly didn't put this one as I didn't think it was one of my best, at all, and I only did because someone persuaded me, and it got more comments than almost any of my others!
