Bwahahaha! Bask in their cuteness! Bask in it I say!
Okay, maybe they aren’t “traditional” Chibi’s, but I still like them.
I don’t draw chibi’s too often…this is like, only the second or third time I ever done it. I like how they turned out though… Szordrin, is just so damned evil and…cute looking.
Never thought the little bastard would be able to look cute…but he pulled it off here! Taralynn and Rylden too…though Taralynn is certainly not goofy like this normally…it’s just general silliness for this picture. Rylden is being quite true to his character though… and being protective of his bitch! Don’t ask about the clothes…the boys are topless because…I am lazy…heh. Oh and…
I had a birthday recently and I happened to be working on this picture in the days before said birthday... And, my Mom snagged the sketch of Szordrin (he’s on a separate piece of paper from Rylden & Taralynn) and turned him into a cake for little ol’ me. *snickers* Yes, I got a birthday cake from my "Mommy." I never would have thought drow could be cute, especially in chibi form. Elegant, beautiful, enticing, alluring, handsome, etc, but not cute. This picture hath proven me wrong. So very, very wrong. And now I find myself wanting to track down all of the pictures of this Szordrin of yours that I can find, because he is so very cute and evil.
I usually don't like chibis. This particular take, however... It's much sharper and defined than I normally see, and that works well with them being drow. Definitely one of the best 'silly' pieces I've seen on the site! Seriously wish I could draw like this, or any of your other pieces, for that matter. I tried drawing a picture of my favorite D&D drow character, Siannodel, a while back, but I'd never have the guts to post it. I'm nowhere near this good.

I'm typing this for the two of us. My wife and I have always loved this pic, and of course it's what drove us to request the chibi picture from you of the chibi cast. I also have a secret confession to make. It wasn't just the back history and stories of Szordrin I heard from you telling my wife before. After seeing this pic, it became that much easier and determined to try and write him in. This is just OH TOO CUTE!! I mean all the way around, it's simply amazing, cute ... did i mention cute? I can so see Szordrin using his stabbity ... the daggers!!
Anyway, we had to say this picture has always stuck with us and it's UBER cool.

This is actually one of my favorite pieces in my gallery. I usually don't like my own art (weird I know) but this was one I liked...and it was fun drawing too.
And this is SO how I picture all the characters in your chibis! In this goofy toony style. Like I said, it's not a traditional chibi style, but it's how I picture them with that chibi-ish personality...so whatever, it's close enough, hehe. ^_^`
