A commission piece for ~Velrose of her Arachnomancer, Sintesse. Yep, another cool name for a character!Okay, just a few things I want to point out. The markings on her face are NOT tattoos! Though I know I’ll get a bajillion comments from people calling it a tattoo… They are SCARS though, not tattoos. And they are supposed to resemble a spider. She’s an Arachnomancer and they go through some kind of ritualistic scarification. Sintesse often paints the scars, which is why they are colored the way they are. Just wanted to clear that up! Scar…not a tattoo…
And isn’t her hair cool? I was scared at first…because colors scare me and the brighter they are the worse it is. But I think it actually turned out pretty good. She dyes it as I understand it, so no one freak out and start flaming the pic because it isn’t white hair ok? And even if she didn’t dye it, shut up! People are allowed to be creative.
Okay, I think that’s all I wanted to say. Let the drooling begin!

Great work. I like how you worked facial scarification into the image and character - patterning the scars rather than the usual "disfiguration of a cheek" or "right over the eye" is really eye catching, and works well for that sort of character. Keep up the good work!

oh she's gorgeous!!!! Drow + blue = perfection lol....I think blue just goes so nicely with drow...heheh.... course....my fav color is blue....rather like her hair's color...so maybe I'm biased as well

Thanks...this was actually a sort of fallback pose, because I couldn't get the first one right. She was originally supposed to be in a more dancer-ish pose but I couldn't get it to look right. ~Velrose described a secondary pose since I was having so much trouble with the first one and this is what I came up with. She liked it better than the crappy daner ones (and they were crappy), hehe.
I'm just glad it all worked out in the end! I'm rather happy with this one.

Thanks! ~Velrose described the pants for me and gave me a color swab for the base color of her hair. I just worked with the details I was given, so she deserves credit to.

well... the original comment I had typed was a lot longer. And then Devart decided to be a pain in the rear and time out...over and over and over again. *sigh* Soooooo--what to say without sounding repetitive.
I love what you've done with my character and I have to say, she's pretty damned happy too. She hasn't tried to poison me once since she saw it! ^_^ Thanks for saving my life, even if it IS for just a short time.

I'm really glad you like her though! She was a challenge to do and her colorful clothes and hair was way different from what I'm used to doing. It was a good challenge though and I'm actually rather fond of the pic myself (don't usually like my own art, so this surprises me).

I dont have any pics of my hair that color it was only that color for about 4 weeks and I didnt have a camera.
Than it was purple for 2 years but I'm thinking of doing it that color again.
