Man do I love this picture! I've got the calm Riot face going, whileΒ Tarisa is flashing her perfect Jem smile! Part of the awesome mini-photoshoot I did at Katsucon 2014 with my favorite cosplayer. I love this costume so much! <3Jem is FireLilyCosplay . She is also the one who made my shirt and jacket, and they are fantastic. She opens her schedule for commissions, and I highly recommend her.

Loving this! It was my favorite show as a child born in 82'. I went back and re-watched it last year and still got wrapped up in the story and fashion. I enjoyed it, even though I laugh at many of my other horribly voice acted childhood obsessions. Jem & cast are still truly outrageous!

A fellow '82 baby. I rewatched the show too, recently. I can't believe how extensive everyone's wardrobe was, or how fun the songs were.

It was the best! We had a lot of JatH fans coming to get pictures. I know Jem was considered a "girl's" cartoon, but who could deny the fun of (truly, truly) outrageous 80s music and fashion?
as a side note, have you considered making a Jem costume? You've definitely got the talent to pull it off nicely, and if we end up at the same con I'd be happy to bring Riot.Β

Sweet! That's one of her most stylish outfits, IMO. I've been using the Jem Cartoon Wardrobe (pranceatron.com/jem/cartoonwar⦠) for future costume plans. Riot's Orange Stage Outfit from "It's a Hard, Hard Life" is the current top contender.

Wonderful. So perfect both in spirit of the show and the appearance of the characters.
This just goes to prove that actors CAN look like characters out of the Jem cast.

LOL, my girls just got seasons 1-3 on dvd. Weekend full of Jem was enough for me.
