browns aren't doing the job... it really doesn't look like she's underwater... You need to consider the effect of the environment on the image itself. In this case everything should be pushed towards blues and greens

Oh, yeah! It's a very usefull teqnique to change the color of the lines.
I also started with the background first, witch rally helped!!
