I have seen a little of it from photographs and movies, so yes, would certainly like to get there before too long and yes, is always great to catch up with fellow creative people when traveling too

Yes I'm sure you wont regret to come here!! Specially when you know the good places where to take pics, one go them if you want to check on google is called "Sintra" it's one of the places where I really want to go soon to take some pics.

The problem about this place is that you can easily get lost in there, i'm not quite sure but I think there are even tours around because of that. It's a place that I dont recommend at all going by yourself, but it's really worth to go in there to take some good photography!! If you have time check it on google and let me know what you think!!

Sorry.. eheh i'm a talker

It does look like an interesting place so much colour and lots to see I think that places like that are why I like traveling so much, as Australia has a relatively short history in regards to the culture (in regards to the English history, the indigenous culture stretches back around 40,000+ years tho) so we really don't have a lot of interesting architecture or ruins etc and yes, sometimes it is better to have a guide at least to avoid getting lost

Well you guys might not have ruins and might not have interesting architecture (i'm not really familiar with Australian culture ) but there is something you guys have that I would love to touch, pet, hug and hold.. The amazing koalas!! They are just too adorable!!

And I read online you have a wonderful pink lake!!! Have you ever been there?? From what I see seems to be really awesome!! I would love to go there one day!!

We have some ruins indeed but most of our architecture went down with a huge earthquake that took place in 1755.. Some things survived to that earthquake but not many.. People say we can have an earthquake that big at any time now since Lisbon is considered seismic hazard and an earthquake that big should happen every 200 years, and so far we have only had little one. We had a 4.2 last year, but it's good because according to scientists as long as we keep having little ones the odds of having a huge one are really small.

Koalas are adorable yes I have piccies of them in my gallery too  darth-marlan.deviantart.com/ga…

I think the lake you are talking about is over in Western Australia...I haven't been that far across. I have been as far as the Flinders Ranges, in South Australia.

Ah, I see, and yes, I think that is correct, that smaller ones do tend to lessen the chance of a bigger one. We had one here that was 5.5 some time back, it was a bit strange as there are not really any fault lines or anything like that here, although, there was another one many years ago in the early 70s, that my mum said her bed rolled across the floor and there was a rumbling and a shaking felt in the house

Koalas are awesome!!! I went to check your koalas omg!! My heart totally melted! Have you ever had the chance to hug them?

Have you ever thought on going to visit the Western part of Australia?

Oh 5.5 is kinda high still :/ did you feel anything?? Oh my, was your mum asleep when it happened? On the last year on that 4.2 earthquake I was just sitting on my bed and the window started to shake really bad. In the moment I was like: "was that an earthquake or am I losing my mind?" but 10 minutes later they were talking about the earthquake in the news!!

They are quite unique and individual and not actually hug, but I have patted one, so soft and fluffy indeed

I'd like to get over that way eventually, there are some interesting places up to the north-west as well, but haven't had the opportunity to get there quite yet.

I was around 5 hours away, up the north coast at the time, fishing on a river when it happened. My grandparents had heard it on the news and came running over to tell me and I was like "yeah..right...earthquake in Newcastle? haha,..." didn't feel a thing with that one. Although there was a smaller one some years later that I did feel, also noticed the water in our crayfish tank (fairly wide tank) was making waves along the top... but yeah, if you are not expecting one in the area it can be a surprise

Koalas are awesome indeed

When you do, make sure you go to the pink lake and take some pictures!! I'm sure they will look really awesome, I would love to see them.. I dunno why that lake makes me want to drink it's water but probably not the healthier choice

Well you know earthquakes is like, the closer you are to the ground the less you will feel them so it doesn't surprise me that you didn't feel it when fishing on a river. earthquakes are something that really terrify me, it's terrible because I can't control it I just panic really bad.. The worst is that I can't even understand why so much panic!! i even know what to do in case of a bad one but the first thing I do is forget what I must do andI always start crying and running to the closest person in fear to seek protection I can't even control it and it's quite embarrassing

I'll definitely pencil it in as a place to visit and I am sure that it will be yes and haha yeah maybe not a good idea to drink it

Yeah, I think the total randomness can be unnerving and a little worrying and well, sometimes it is good to be able to go and squish someone in those sorts of situations

Yeah for sure it wouldn't be a good idea, but I dunno it looks so yummy, like some kind of strawberry milkshake.. I love strawberries

Eeheh squishing someone on those situations help a lot!! I have been through similar situation when I was younger with storms and my mom/dad would be the ones I would go run to
