While workmen repaired the rails on Thomas' branchline, Thomas had to shunt trucks and goods in the yards. There was a lot of work to do, but thankfully there were two engines on loan to the NWR that helped him greatly.All the while, Thomas was most upset about the situation. Annie and Clarabel felt deeply sorry for their engine.
