I recently decided to start using my tablet more, and to actively try to improve my current style. This picture of Natalie was created entirely in Photoshop.How am I doing? Please comment

Kay, the only thing I can say is that it looks really good, especially the colors. Your lines seem less sure, more pixelated than normal, though I don't know how you would fix that...

As for the lines, they're that way because of the way my tablet was inputting the lines. The program i was using wasn't entirely compatable with tablets, so it didn't work as well

This looks more like the pictures you draw by hand
meaning, you should stick with this if you would like to draw directly in the comp. (<- this my advise of course)

This way takes a little more time at the moment than drawing by hand, so i would only be able to do pictures occasionally.

The nose is a bit ... off... But it is shaped as it normally should be for my style.
I'm paying more attention to that for future pics

Your shading is looking better, but I'm honestly not sure what your noses are doing...the bridge of the nose is in a strange place and the nose itself is far too high up. It needs to be just above the mouth really.
Also try working at a higher resolution to reduce pixelation, do you have the pressure sensitivity set up on your tablet?

I'm glad you approve of my shading. The pressure sensitivity on my tablet is working, but not in the program that i used to draw this picture. I will soon have Photoshop for my Mac, and that should mark many new pictures and comics, as I plan to begin shading them in photoshop.
As for the nose, I don't know why i drew it that high.... it is a bit off, and I'm working on fixing that in future deviations. Thanks for the critique
