Description
I so want this guy in Marvel Cinematic Universe.As you can see (or read?) I've made some changes -
in most part, I just mixed 616 Doom

with Ultimate Doom

, but I added a little bit from myself to make him more believable (for example - his "Doctor" status, and idea for the armour, or his past - do we really need to know his full origin in a movie? He is ever cooler as mysterious persona. So every fantastic bit of his past i made as a folk legend - you know, every dictatorship country has legends about their leaders, like North Korea)
Also, I wanted his armour to look modern, advanced YET medieval and knighty. My inspirations were Man of Steel Kryptonian Armours:

My favorite comic book villain of all time. Cool design, love the amount of detail you put into the armor and clothing patterns. I only have two gripes, one the metal is color is a little too inconsistent, are you aiming for white/black/gray, it's kinda all over the place. Also it doesn't truly feel like Doom without the cape, I can hear Edna screaming "no capes" in my ear. But it's an essential aspect to Doom's design.
Still this is infinitely better than the previous versions of Doom with got so you get a thumbs up from me.

Very good! IMO Marvel should just get Doom back and use him, then introduce the Fantastic Four.

Subject : Gauntlet-Location
- After the Avengers defeated the alien Thanos with the assistance of the alien heores known as 'The Guardians', the 'Infinity Gauntlet' that Thanos used to combat the Avengers and the Guardians was lost to the stars, until recently.
Reports from the European Division (Headed by Lieutenant Joseph Chapman) tell us that the gauntlet has landed on Earth, in a small island country named Latveria.
Not much information is known about the country, or it's leader, Victor Von Doom, as all agents sent there have been reported as MIA.
We cannot send the Avengers or any sort of strike-force to investigate and/or retrieve the gauntlet, since any large-scale operation would be considered an act of war, and we cannot risk any more conflicts after Ultron's Attacks, the Sokovia Accord Conflict, and the defense against Thanos.
We have yet to see an official response from Latveria, all we know is that Doom has the gauntlet.

What's wrong you may?
Fox had tried three times to turn the Fantastic Four into a film franchise and they fucked it up for various reasons. They tried more than a decade to do something funny, stupid and lighthearted and it didn't work. Then they tried to do something dark, gritty and mature and it didn't work?
You want to know why?
Because Fox can't even stay true to the source material. If they just read the comic books and look at the source material, maybe the films wouldn't have sucked.
Basically the 2015 movie has shattered any faith the fans had in the studio.
A Fox produced Fantastic Four movie will never be trusted again.
So why keep holding on to the rights? Why throw away millions of dollars on movies that are all but guaranteed to fail?

You see, for me the point is Marvel/Disney just know what to do. Sure, they make some bad movies too (second Thor for example) but if you consider they make more than 15 movies - and most of them are decent to say at least? That's amazig. Sure, they force Infinity War a little too much - but isn't that an event worth waiting for?
Another problem is Fox idea for the FF movies - they just make them to hold the rights longer. Fist time, they should give the rights back in 1995 - they make a cheap movie (that wasnot even aired in cinemas) so they can have rights for another 10 years. Then, they make ANOTHER movie in 2005 - better, to be honest, but still not a good movie. And 10 years later - Fan4stick.
You know what I mean? There is no much effort or idea put into these movies. They just make them to hold the rights.
About the X-Men - I don't want them back in MCU. There ae not Inhumans - they do not hide fom the rest of the world. So how can you explain there wasn't even a mention of them in previous movies? It's just too late.
Considering the quality of Batman v Superman or Suiide Squad - I also want Marvel to take rights back to these characters xD (joke). Wonder Woman is their last chance for me. And I'm all for competition between FOX, SONY, MARVEL and DC - cometition means effort, thus better movies.

Awesome.
But I think that two changes are necessary, one about the design, the other about his powers:
- his mask works more with the design of comics. Dr. Doom's mask represents a skull, a way for him to be intimidating and a reference to his name. That kind of design makes his mask pretty fascinating;
- now true magic will be introduced by Doctor Strange, so Doom can be more closer to his comic version, mainly for his past and also because in the other cinematic versions, the lack of magic made always a crucial change to his nature. He uses both magic and science, and this makes him really particular and powerful.

Well, yeah. When I was making this, there was no magic in the MCU.
For the mask - I know it origins and what it represents. This is just a "modernized" version of it, but I agree it takes some steps from original "skull" look.

I think that the "skull" look works more. It has a great impact. A modern version risks, on my point of view, to make him a little weird, noterai convincing.

And this, my friends, is proof that a more "realistic" Doctor Doom can work, and why the Blogger Doctor Doom we'll be getting in the FF Reboot is an irredeemably stupid idea as anything but where he starts out. But this is what Doom should be in the movies. Simple as that.
