I'm assuming all these islands lie on top of Mata Nui's submerged body? Metru Nui lies on top of the face, Nothern Continent, somewhere on the chest, Keetongu's Island and Artidax on top of the thighs, and so on. But seriously, doesn't the arrangement of the islands look a bit like the body of a massive being?

No, except Mata Nui and Voya Nui for short period of time, all island are placed inside Mata Nui's robot body.

I wonder that too...since no one lives in the Matoran Universe anymore I guess we'll never know, but it does mean one thing for certain;
plenty of room for fanfics, MOCs and made-up islands! I'm sure one of those is the "unnamed island" in my stories, while i know for certain that one of the islands in the legs is "Tomari Nui" IMS.

Quite nice. I like the accuracy to the official maps of places like Metru Nui and Odina. This map certainly makes the MU look a lot more lively than the outlines-only map provided by LEGO.
Most of the coloring is very accurate to the locations as they've been described (or at least as I've imagined them). There's only one big goof-- the sea should technically be silver.

Depends on what sort of lighting you've got. If you were to use an orangish, dawnlike light (as appeared in some images of Metru Nui), silver might be pretty epic. Of course, changing the lighting would require changing all the islands as well, so I guess it's not worth the trouble.
