Description
This was my second attempt at oil painting. My first attempt ended up with muddy colours so I looked for something that had fewer colours involved. Just focusing on getting the darks DARK and the lights LIGHT. I am quite pleased with how this turned out.At this point I learned how long it takes for oil paintings to dry -- forever... particularly long with the thick stippling and the linseed oil I mixed into my liquid white. Smaller canvases are in my future...
18x24" Oil on Canvas - 3 colours (Titanium White, Ivory Black, and Crimson Alizarin)
PS -- Don't mind my dirty laundry room.
