Okay, I followed some Bob Ross tutorials. I know how to make 'something' that looks like a painting (fluffy clouds and happy trees). I figured it was time to actually learn how the paint reacts to intentional mixing, thinning, thickening, lightening, darkening, etc.

I sketched out a polygonal version of Michaelangelo's David and mixed the colour for each polygon and focused on how the paint sticks and moves on the canvas. I tried to keep the saturated colours near the face and less saturated colours in other regions.
