Description
Okay -- so my last attempt was a study of how the paint mixes / shades. I was shocked how fast you can lose saturation when you lighten / darken an area.

The purpose here was to try to get some shading / gradients going -- and limit the use of black (particularly for outlines). Mario seemed like a good starting point with simple shapes and distinct colours.

I'm not a fan of the Mikey Mouse Oven Mitt hands -- but I really like how the nose and coveralls came out.
