In my first Predator at the Gamescom 2014 in Köln, Germany.The Predator wasn't completetly finished, but I had a lot of fun anyway.
Some guy screamed "Das is' ja 'n Weib!" ( "That's a woman!" ) after I took off the mask. I confused a lot of people, and I liked it.

I am so glad to see the ladies dressing as a Predator (and a unique one at that) and it isn't a female costume. Don't matter what conduit is under the suit, as long as that masculine Yautja above is alive and well!
PS: You wore black eye paint! THANK YOU. I see SO MANY Predators with Human skin around their eyes because their chewy Human center didn't have the wherewithal to paint some black and cover it. It ruins the illusion otherwise. You obviously saw this and made that extra difference.

I didn't like the idea about being too feminine. My next suit will be a female costume, because I just want to see if I can look terrifying without changing my figure. But after that, I got some plans for more masculine suits... I like them way more.
The best part are those completely apalled looks of men, who ask me questions about the suit, and get surprising answers. I'm blessed (or cursed) with a very "nice and soft" feminine voice... and a thick german accent.
Some random guy punched me against the chest, called me ugly and told me that I would never get a girlfriend. I took off the mask and his face lost all its colour.
I did not want to look like a human in a Predator costume, so the black paint was the least I could do. My eyes are already green and yellow, so I decided against contact lenses.
I'm a beginner with those costumes, this is the first one I ever made, but my goal is to make them as realistic as possible. Everyone needs a hobby. Mine is being ugly.

That antagonizing bully will never find love if he feels the need to push down those who are more brave than him to show their true (Yautja) colors. When I am in-character online, I make people's perceptions question themselves about Yautja. Women who want nothing to do with this are suddenly hooked. When you make people invested in someone or something that on average they care nothing about, that is when you know you are doing a good job. Especially, in your case, when they think you are a guy under the suit.
For a beginner, I think you did a good job. I bet with any new suits, you can apply yourself and be great. Anyone can trump themselves, if they apply themselves.

Those guys on conventions seem a bit jealous when the ugly mofo gets all the attention and kisses from the ladies. What's still unconfortably is, that women (and sometimes men too) from time to time grope my fake muscles and ask if they are real.
The answer "no. Those are not muscles at all" when they've got their hands on my predator's pecs usually makes the situation VERY ankward.
I can't decide bethween another male suit and a female at the moment, I'll have to think about it a lot.
But thank you very much, I try to improve my skills as much as I can.
And maybe sometimes I'll find a sympathic and honorable hunter for myself.

I got the exact same reactions on a MUSH (it's like WoW but text-based). I've heard through the rumor grapevine that guys were perplexed how an 'ugly motherfucker' Predator character ascended popularity and reached the ranks of the game's in-character government in such very short order.
Jealously breeds hate and passive aggressiveness. It was why I left the game a few months ago. My character's popularity became his downfall when too many people weren't happy about that, including the older characters who have been there since the beginning.
As for ladies touching...just keep your mind Pred-focused. They shouldn't touch you anyway, man or woman. Just keep that in mind. It's not that you're a woman under the suit, but that you shouldn't be touched in the first place.

People can't hold their hands still, that's why I've always somebody without a costume by my side at conventions.
Somebody who scares the crowd off, hands me a drink over... It works, even with the mask on.
Besides, I have to be very careful, too. My claws are solid and quite sharp, and humans are soft meat after all.

I have heard stories of Predators getting their dreadlocks tugged off. And one was pushed onto a little child in the UK. *sigh*
Glad you have a 'handler' with you. Keep them with you so the touching can lessen. Maybe make a little joke out of it to distract.

Jokes and so on are part of the performance. It's a role, online and especially in the suit.
