Wanted to do this for some time. This is merely a recolour of the Ahead. Nothing new here.

The Ahead, being a Mobile Suit exclusively for the A-Laws are usually seen in the standard red colours. However after the Break Pillar Incident, Few A-Laws members who realised their own faction's atrocities have defected with their Mobile Suits. The Aheads that were brought in by defectors were repainted to the Federation Dark Blue and the change is merely cosmetic.

The defectors have joined the ESF Army Coup Faction and the repainted Aheads have fought against it's former brethen in the battle at Lagrange 2. Despite these turncoat units contributing in the battle, the general public still saw the Aheads as a sign of oppression

Two years later when the ELS threatened humanity, Aheads that survived the battle and dismantlements have been brought back to service and repainted blue if they haven't already due to the necessity of fielding every Mobile Suits available against the ELS. The units that fought in the nearly one-sided battle have finally redeemed the unit's reputation as a "symbol of oppression".
