I introduce to you our sad toony lady spinel from Steven Universe The Movie! I’m so glad I could get this released. I had to remake the skins because I lost the files when I backed up skinseed. I hope you enjoy it!

I dont watch Steven Universe, nor do I ever plan to. Whats the deal with Spinel? Also, is it pronounced Spin-el or Spine-l ?

Spin-el, and the reason people enjoy her so much is the way she was written. She used to be an entertainer for one of the lead homeworld gems Pink Diamond until Pink got tired of her and abandoned her in her space-garden. Thousands of years later, Steven, the son of pink diamond, makes a message to all of the gems in the universe about his next plans for gemkind and Spinel is one of those gems who receives it. Spinel, now desperate for revenge for being abandoned, goes and hunts steven down to take him out for what pink did. Then the movie starts, Spinel's backstory about how cute and innocent she used to be gets revealed along the way, they get into a big fight, and in the end she is persuaded by steven to stop acting out in rage and join him.
To make it short, spinel's cartoony style, how cute she used to be, and her tragic backstory all attracted the fans. I can kinda see why shes so popular lol
