Art Description:
A few months ago I wrote something called "Hero in Hiding" (linked above) and thought around now's the best time to post the text since RWBY vol 4's episodes are coming out both to sponsors and public. In short, there are a lot of in world problems in the RWBY franchise, some piling up so much it may turn off viewers upon first glance. However, most if not all of these issues can be explained in what could be one of biggest plot twists in literary history, greater than the likes of Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back and Severus Snape in Deathly Hallows. The setup is there, but I can't say for sure Rooster Teeth or Monty Oum's manuscripts will go for this. But if somehow they pull it off, it'll go a long way in redeeming what many believe to be a very underwhelming first 3 seasons and bringing a huge payoff to the upcoming episodes. Basically, I think we're being misled as to who's the hero of RWBY's story, by the art you may be able to guess who I'm talking about.

As for the actual art, I wanted to make a version imitating Monty Oum's style the best I could; mostly because it's faster that way so I could get to uploading this along with my hypothesis journal faster, and I have some art in Monty Oum's style for animorphsdude 's games. I also want to make a version in my style (which I'll call dhmanga186 style) just so I can get as good a version as I possibly can available. When designing the piece, I had to use Cinder's outfit from RWBY vol 1-3 since as of Nov 25, 2016 we don't see a clear reference of her vol 4 outfit which is much different. Her outfit's not really suited for a snowy night, but then again neither is most of the RWBY cast's outfits meant for the environments and situations they're in. I picked her overlooking Summer Rose's grave to include my (Summer Rose) Addendum I also wrote not long after I finished my main hypothesis text, plus I think this way the image points to Cinder's true allegiance in the story. I used pre made textures for the gravestone and the cliffs since I had no idea how to make them by hand, but I made the snow by hand using images directly from trailers and episodes. I made the clouds using airbrush with different shades, the blur tool, and then lowered opacity to show the sky.
This thing took almost 5 weeks to make, some of the extra time is because I was in China with much less time to work throughout the day. I started Oct 20 and uploaded Nov 25 (past midnight).

When I showed the WIP to different people, I came to realize I might've turned this into a possible meme image if I want to saw RIP to someone in whatever context and wanted to show someone mourning for this individual. Should anyone want to use my image in this manner, feel free to be creative. Also, never before have I rooted for myself so much when watching someone else's show... I'm a horrible individual.
