I don't know what to say about Vader. I've drawn him wrong for 30 years. My son has one of those voice changing helmets and it helped me a little in seeing what I'm doing wrong but I still get him wrong. He is a lot of sharp angles and curves and the darkness of his image in most photos leads to a lot of imagination and mistakes if you aren't careful. He's not the straight black and white like the stormtroopers(which I also mess up a lot as well). It is weird what your mind imagines it sees and what is really there. Thanks again!

Thanks for the tips, I don't think i've thanked you before now, sorry! I havent noticed anything wrong with the way you paint vader!
It's the angles on Vader that get me, I can draw the mechanical no problem, but Vader's mask in particular is notoriously hard to get right...guess it'll be a shady profile pic then

The darkness consumes his mask and maybe get an image of him and make it black and white. I noticed that Matt Busch does that with some of his work. A negative image of the photo while give you raw shapes and then you know just fill in the shapes with contrast! I don't do it that way but I have thought of giving it a try! I can't wait to see the Asajj Ventress! Keep up the great work!
