Carpenter Ant is a part of an alien race of ant-people in my universe. He is related to Plant Ant of the Super-Mutant Nine and has another brother by the name of Fire Ant who is a villain, whom I haven't done a bio for yet. Also, while Plant has a completely made up clever rhyming name which explains his powers, Carpenter and Fire are of course named for and based on actual species of ants. "Carp" being a "builder" and using tools, and Fire being a pyrokinetic. They also have a sister named for another actual type of ant by the name of Army, who is appropriately a soldier. Her bio has never been done either.Related content

Okay - this has to be one of the most clever designs and stories of characters I've seen.

I could do a whole series just about the Ants. The four siblings: Plant, Carpenter, Fire and Army are just the tip of how many of them that I've actually created and what I've written for their race/species. In a way they're kind of like the Smurfs where each one is basically named for their talents, abilities, or jobs and there is literally potential for there to be billions of them just like real ants this way, but I've probably made at least another 10-15 ant heroes and villains besides the four that are related, and of course have only done bios for Plant and Carpenter so far. The rest will come someday though.

Don't feel so bad, a lot of mine only have the bare minimum of stats w/ little or no history & I'm so disorganized that I'm lucky that I can find half of what I have written for them if anything when I do these so I don't contradict myself.

That's fine, since there are going to be 37 total by the time that I'm done I've been recording each fave for each one so that I can just give people a big thanks at the end rather than cluttering up profiles w/ daily thank-yous every day as most of my friends & followers here are liking all of them so far & I appreciate it as always. So, let me say thank-you now for immediately taking a liking to Carpenter Ant & that since we're only on the first third or so get ready for a nice long session my friend.
