Name/Aliases: Paige Monroe, Tension

Powers/Abilities: Can transform any part of her body into springs, heightened agility, perception and reflexes.

Allies: Rubber Girl (mentor), Arclight (rival)

Bio: Paige is a young woman who does everything she can to prove that she is hero material. Her powers were found to be extremely useful for the urban area she operates in and she takes every opportunity to display them and help whoever she can. Starting out with nothing but a tracksuit, mask, and the code name tension, she found herself outmatched by the criminals and powered beings she faced. The bumpy road was smoothed out a bit when she met the older, more experienced hero, Rubber Girl. The duo teamed up to take down a local gang completely by accident and the elder hero offered to teach her the ropes of crime fighting.

Paige was overjoyed to be working with a real hero and accepted immediately. Soon she got a new hero name as well as an actual costume to go along with it and takes to the streets with other heroes, but mostly with Rubber Girl herself and her on-again-off-again sidekick, Arclight, who Spring can't stand to be around as the two often come into conflict with the other over their clashing personalities.

Though she has the enthusiasm to go far, she still has a lot to learn, both in being a hero and about life itself. But she is always ready to learn.

*She changed her name from Tension to Spring Step since Rubber Girl thought it would appeal to kids.
*Her costume was inspired by the Jack in the box toy.
*Her often bubbly personality can come off as endearing to some but make her seem almost ditzy to others.
*Built in wing-suit allows her to glide through the sky once she's gotten enough height from her powers.
