The second fight of the tournament featured South Africa's Andre Harhoff against Californian Jared Marsh. The two duked it out Saturday night in San Diego. Marsh used his speed and slick skills to throw off the South African, but Harhoff successfully adapted after round 3 and began to counter punch effectively from then on. Marsh was dropped from a quick right hand from his opponent in the 7th and he fought to survive until the end of the round. The two exchanged leather in the final round as Marsh left everything in the ring, being seconds from going down after taking a heavy left uppercut to the chin. Harhoff was awarded a majority decision and will be scheduled to fight Jakub Adamek in the semifinals.
