Description

A scene I made from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Anakin Skywalker, newly renamed Darth Vader, carries out the orders of Darth Sidious, alias Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine of the Galactic Republic, and marches with the 501st Legion of clone troopers into the Jedi Temple. There, Operation Knightfall commences: the Dark Lord of the Sith slaughters every single "traitorous" Jedi—Masters, Knights, Padawans, and younglings alike—in his way with no remorse. He does this not only because the Jedi Order has "betrayed" him, but also out of desperation to save his secret wife, Padmé Amidala, from dying out of childbirth. With the Jedi gone, the Republic is soon transformed into a Galactic Empire with Palpatine in charge and the Sith at long last control the galaxy.

Once again, I wanted to have Vader with a red lightsaber during his quick decent into the dark side of the Force. Makes him more evident as a Sith Lord.

On the left, you'll find a recently dead Duros Jedi as Vader walks down the corridor. You can see the lightsaber falling and the smoke rising from his charred scar. Scary, huh? Of course, this is my first try at drawing a Duros, so it came out pretty close to the mark.

Ahead facing Vader are a pair of robed Jedi with blades of blue and green, ready to fend him off. The blackness around them is the room they're in. You can see the catwalk between them and Vader.

Above are the words of Sidious' command and "promise" to his new apprentice.
