Description
Ok, so this may not be *all* my Phantom stuff, since I have bought a few things since this fall, but it's *most* of it. All the important stuff that is.Well, where to start? I've collected this stuff over 5 years, and I plan on adding a lot more. For starters, where are all the movie versions of Phantom? Why don't I own the Claude Rains version, obscure stage versions, or tons of other stuff?? Ah ha ha. This shows how obsessive I am. But I refuse to own a copy of Susan Kay at the moment. Maybe someday if this collection must be complete or if I feel led to read it again.
Well, I guess I'll list all the stuff that you see here.
1) Phantom poster from US Tour (when I saw it in Des Moines with John Cudia)
2) My Phantom plushie! YAY! (hand-made by me and my mom)
3) My Phantom plushie's accessories: a note, punjab lasso, rose and ring. (can't really see these. And I forgot to include a bunch of other accessories of his including a Don Juan mask)
4) Monkey musical box, bought at an AUCTION (ebay). lol.
5) Phantom lair musical box. Plays "music of the night." Bought this at the mall.
6) Phantom pen. From US tour also.
7) Silk Phantom artwork, done in artclass a few years ago.
8) Wedding veil (looks like movie one! bought at goodwill)
9) Lon Chaney 1925 Silent film, in original b/w or tinted color and original score that makes this the best dvd copy I could find.
10) Kopit/Charles Dance TV mini series on DVD.
11) Phantom 2004 film in original widescreen dvd and 2-disc special edition. The original one is my first copy which I bought the same week I watched it and the 2-disc I bought later.
12) 1988 Programe from the London production, given to me by my aunt and uncle in Mexico. Has pictures of Michael Crawford and original cast, as well as reference to stuff Phantom Reviewer has alluded to. (he has this program as well)
13) 2007 program from US tour.
14) London 2009 program.
15) Phantom cape (underneath masks) - handmade
16) Gerard butler mask
17) Stage mask, hand painted/cut from one I bought at hot topic.
18) Phantom rose w/ribbon (fake and IMMORTAL! XD)
19) George Perry's "The Complete Phantom of the Opera" out of print.
20) Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux (abridged standard)
21) Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux (unabridged, bair version)
22) Paris Opera (bought there) gold bookmark w/lyre.
23) Black fedora
24) Original cast CD (highlights) (I have the original cast cd now, but I don't know why it wasn't in this picture!! LOL)
25) Phantom - Yeston/Kopit soundtrack
26) Phantom movie soundtrack, 2 disc edition
27) Phantom t-shirt from US tour (I have another one too, but it's crackly)
28) London t-shirt
29) Playbill from US tour
30) Another US tour playbill
31) Another US tour playbill signed by Carlotta, Piangi and I want to say Raoul.
32) London playbill signed by Simon Bailey (Raoul), Gina Beck (Christine) and Ramin Karimloo (Phantom).
33) Christine costume gown (I now have a hand-made corset that goes with this.)
[EDIT] So I'll probably take another picture of my collection once I feel I've added enough more to make substantial changes. But here are some things I've recently got:
1) Original London cast CD (two discs)
2) Tom Alonso soundtrack (musical)
3) Phantom bead keychain (homemade from a friend)

GLEEP.
Yay, I see some stuff that I own there too! LOVE the Complete Phantom of the Opera by George Perry. I just had to get it. I just have one playbill however from the U.S. version when I got to see it in San Francisco, where John Cudia was supposed to be the Phantom. I also got the Phantom of the Opera keychain, the Tshirt, and the poster from the performance.

Awesome! Did you get John's understudy... Jason Mills? He's the first Phantom I saw. But when Jason Mills stood in for John Cudia when John Cudia stood in for Howard McGillin (so confusing!) we got Jason's understudy who was this stocky whiny phantom that was terrible! XD

Wow, that's some serious Phantom stuff! How appropriate that I dreamed about going to a shop full of Phantom merchandise last night! XD
I've seven of these things (if you count my handmade mask and change the shirt's designg), so I've still a little to go... Have you got the book of the movie btw? And do I wish I had Ramin Karimloo's autograph too! I'd promise to get it next summer if I wasn't going with my friend - she likes musicals all right, but I don't know if she likes them enough to stagedoor every night with me...

DarthxErik In reply to Starlene [2011-04-01 22:24:58 +0000 UTC]
that's awesome!
No I DON'T have the book of the movie. My friend did and so I got to take a look at it, but I never had the chance to look for it at the bookstore. I'm not itching to get it, but if I ever see it at half-price books I'll probably get it. oh right! haha. Ramin took forever to come out to the stage door when I went, so she might not like that either...

I got the book when I saw PoTO in West End (I practically raided the souvenir stand ) and to this date it's my main visual source for PoTO fanart. No wonder my Phantom drawings are always that glittery...
Well, you'd suppose taking all that Phantom makeup can take some time... Oh well, we'll see. Maybe we can bring some sausages along and have a lunch break while waiting.

I see! XD No that's ok. The DVD was my main source of inspiration for years. Now it's mostly from my head, or sometimes stage reference pictures.
I need to do more Les Mis and Phantom art. NAOUGH.
Yeah! lol! Hot dog eating contest!

Oh, it'll be so beautiful when Ramin finally comes out of the theatre but I can't speak because my mouth is too full of hot dogs.

WHOA HO HEY THAT'S A LOT OF STUFFFFFF AND I'M PRETTY JEALOUS.
(ha, The Complete Phantom of the Opera! That was brilliant. I got it from the library. There's a Complete Les Miserables, too...)
That's awesome, though. Quite a collection! The only Phantom shirt I have currently is the glow-in-the-dark mask one. The one with the mask and the rose.
And the Christine gown. SO JEALOUS.
(actually, I've got a white medieval gown that resembles it somewhat, but...it's not quite the same...)

WHOA THERE'S A COMPLETE LES MIS!??!? I have to get this............
Still that's pretty epic! If I'd found something very similar to the gown I probably wouldn't have gone all out and bought it, but for years nothing ever popped up so I got desperate. XD
