Quick look into the two Season babies together!Fatalis is a big brother, both physically and mentally. He probably carried Vitalis on his back all the time back when they were together 'cause it was easier.
Vitalis' tree as a child ended right at her shoulder blades, where the blossoms would be to create an almost collar-like look on the back of her neck.

I have to wonder just how big they were compared to a human's size....I'd imagine them to be large enough for a person to ride at least. How big are their adult forms now that I think about it? :0

Vitalis was prolly the cutest as a child. She had the ferret-like energy to run around and she's about as flexible as one. Often times she'd stick her humming bird-like tongue out to be cheeky. x3
As babies, I image Fatalis would be just slightly smaller than your average human, almost like a big dog and difficult to carry without two people. Vitalis is obv much smaller, but what she lacks in height she makes up for with how long she is. A true noodle bean, and much more lightweight than her bro. Likes being carried but since humans would still have a bit of difficulty (if they even manage to touch her with Fatalis around), she ends up relying on her brother more for that. So they had quite the growth spurts.
In their natural world, at full size they were large. Vitalis was about slightly larger than a redwood tree if you stretched her out length-wise. Standing, she's about half that size. Standing, Fatalis was about half Vitalis' body length, excluding wings. Due to their huge size back then, it's one of the reasons how their eventual fight destroyed their world.
Nowadays, since Undergrounds and other worlds aren't theirs and it's too risky to fight in their full form sizes, they were forced to cut it down drastically. Vitalis' true form is now about slightly smaller than a Rathalos with its upper body lifted up. Length wise she's longer than a najarala. Fatalis is a bit larger than a glavenus, excluding the wings. Since they sacrificed their original forms and haven't been keeping themselves rlly healthy, they won't be able to return to their original heights.
