In the world of Vibranttale, there are two types of blasters. Temporial blasters are the first ever blasters to exist, and are dragon-like monsters who generally live in large groups. Their intelligence is on par with other monsters and humans. However, due to their natural appearance and are more instinct driven than their other counterparts, they are typically viewed as something similar to animals. The other type is Gaster blasters, which were created by Dr. W.D. Gaster in an effort to make his own temporial blasters. These blasters are bird-like in appearance, but are quadrupedal like their temporial counterparts. Somewhere along the line of these two blasters being introduced to each other, they bred and had offspring. These halflings are generally referred to as Tempaster or Gastorial blasters.
Blasters have their own society, with Alphas, Deltas and Omegas. Omegas are the lowest of the bunch and generally hunt and care for the group, doing the majority of the hard work. Deltas are tasked with watching over the Omegas and guarding the blaster's territory from any intruders, along with protecting the pack. Alphas are the leaders of the pack, and decide what happens in the group. They can issue commands and make sure Deltas and Omegas stay in line.

The current blue Alpha blaster is known as Artemis, but generally goes by Alpha. She is currently the companion of V.S., the Guardian of Blue. She is V.S.'s second alpha blaster, and was the daughter of the former Alpha. In a devastating turn of events, Alpha is infertile. It is incredibly rare that she will ever have a litter, and the ones she did have died either as pups, in their eggs or inside her womb. Alpha desperately wants children, and V.S. managed to convince Gaster to help him try and find a solution. Currently, they haven't found a way for Alpha to safely have her own pups and keep them alive. To calm these instincts slightly, Alpha has resorted to seeing V.S. as more or less her own child. V.S. sorta just accepts this, seeing as he can't say no to a grieving mother who lost all her children before they could even open their eyes.
Despite Alpha's intimidating appearance, she is actually extremely extroverted and loves attention. She enjoys getting pet and rough housing with other monsters and anyone that wants to play with her. But at the same time, she's extremely protective over V.S., and will be aggressive towards anyone near her partner unless she knows the person or V.S. tells her to calm down.

Alpha blaster info:
Alpha blasters are the strongest blasters known, and are not to be reckoned with. An alpha can be easily recognized by their large horns and dark bones along with their more prominent markings.
Alpha blaster attacks are devastating. Their strongest attack is their blast breath, in which they spew forth a beam of bright plasma that incinerates anything it comes in contact with. It is their deadliest weapon. Their second strongest weapon is their tail, which is club-like and can deal devastating hits and stabs should they hit their target. Alphas will also use their horns, teeth, claws and any spikes on their body to attack foes.
They have more hp compared to Deltas and Omegas.
Should an alpha blaster's master and companion die, the alpha will also die. They are connected to their leader, which allows them to communicate and work together easily. If the alpha dies, their companion will stay alive.
Alpha blasters are extremely rare, and generally only other alpha blasters can produce a single alpha pup and a time.
Unlike Deltas and Omegas, Alpha blasters can only have up to three pups at a time. If they have more, the likelihood of the additional pups surviving are low.
