Kintsugi is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold to highlight the previously broken parts beautifully. The idea is to embrace the past, rather than hide & forget about it.
I think that philosophy fits us as people too, since each and every one of us has scars from the past, at least in our soul, but it doesn't have to label us as 'broken'. We should be kinder to ourselves and be glad we survived whatever we went through in our lives
Well, usually unicorn horns have been portrayed as things that cannot grow back if it gets broken, so I thought a unicorn who has been repaired by kintsugi would be a nice message to send!
I'd like to sell prints of this piece when I'll have a booth at some convention's artist alley in Finland
Fun fact: My brother joked that the kintsugi on the unicorn is actually melted cheese lol

Wow, I LOVE this idea! Take the concept of Kintsugi and make a unicorn with it... awesome! Especially when considering that unicorns horns can't grow back, like you said in the description
