What can't be seen here is the full scope of the fantasy facial morphs made for his base sculpt (I'll render a second with no hair) or the full design of the tattoo work around his shoulders/upper chest/neck/back (which will be shown in the second render), but the idea has finally started to come together. Now to fine tune this version of textures before moving on.Related content

To my eyes the shadows look like smoke and smudges and I'm just imagining them subtlety shifting around.

[Got a look at the hairless Chest/Neck Tattoo WIP as well and it is even more stunning. Really enjoy how dark, both aesthetically and characteristically, it makes him look. And the cheekbone that travels up to the back of the head really helps give him a truly menacing look!]

I love his bone structure. It seems like he can be a hot hunk, or a bad-ass villain. And anything in between. I think he also has a Native American look about his face. I'm really loving Tathar.
I am wondering, though, will he have normal ears, as well as the fantasy ears?
I don't use tats very often, (the reason I never signed up to be a beta testerβ¦ I don't see how I could do your figures justice if I didn't render with tatsβ¦) so I'm always interested in how a character looks in his/her natural skin, (and none of your characters have ever disappointed me.) Anyway, I'd personally love to see a shirtless render without tats. (But only if it doesn't interfere with your schedule.)
