Gorgeous, I love the presentation.
It feels like some sort of arcane technological system at work.

I love how you've kept this one sharp and detailed in some places, but still very abstract. The lighting works wonderfully

dasAdam In reply to Alejandro-Mirabal [2010-02-14 18:46:06 +0000 UTC]
thanks! just come up with a neat silhouette and take it a bit further with a basic shading on top
i leave some of the chaotic shapes be. it adds that little abstract extra ;D

Heh ive been good man, just working and stuff, still in korea teaching, been really fun, been 4 years now lol... did a few art pieces hoping to put them up sometime soon, just gotta be confident and finish them off. But man after seeing ur work again (its always a pleasure man) i kow i have a long way to go haha!!
Again, your skills are flippin wicked!!!

what are you teaching exactly? sounds neat.
yeah dont rush it and finish them for real otehrwise it will bug you later on hehe i am a sinner as well
thanks for the flattery as well! you will do good im so sure!
im working as well still as a 3d artist. im just thinking about moving and getting a job somwhere totally else. england? america? canada? im fine with anything. the problem is i dont know if i should apply for texture artist or maybe risk it applying as a junior concept artist and see where i end up.....ah it bugs me so much

Ah man sooooooo long to reply to ur message, i dont come on here much any more cause i haven't been making many images, im starting to again though, slowly but surely haha...
Yeah im actually teaching in Korea, learning English is biiiig over here. So im teaching English to various age groups, the place i work in particular is a mix between a theme park and a school. Cool place, having fun lol
Ah ur a 3d artist? wicked...... I heard Canada is opening up to the media these days, animation/game/comic companies (especially comic comps - Dreamwave, UDON!!) lol. England is a bit tight, the various markets we could get into are to strong there, and its competitive also, expensive too, even though its my home turf i havta be honest haha...And yeah USA, if u hit it there that's he big time hehe.
Hey man, junior concept artist for sure.....Man ur art is CRAZY wicked!!! Well what u could do is put texture, concept, 3D artist in ur resume...... Oh oh and check out game companies too, they are always looking for peeps for concept art. My two friends actually work for 'Crytek' as concept artists and believe me, if they can then you surely can hehe!!
