Ah-hah! I guess that would explain it. I was never the most creative with legos, myself. I usually only made the sets that they wanted you to make. Blast, who'd have thought that would translate into later-life? XD

i made the sets with the manual just ONCE xP soon after i terminated them and used the cool new parts for own creations!
sometimes i really bought lego because of a special part it contained ;D

ill buy my children lego for sure

hahaha thats exactly what i did too, build once then smash it and build some transforming contraption with hidden guns and escape pods!

haha yeh and when my little bro started getting into lego i was like 14 by then i used to 'help' him build stuff for days on end ha. I was in Bangkok too last week and saw a lego comp, kids all lined up in rows at desks, a timer went off and they had the same pieces and same time limit to build something and then the winner got a lego trophy! would loved then as a kid

i got a much younger brother too so i had an excuse to go to toy storey and wonder around the lego section xD
i really enjoyed buying christmas and birthday gifts for him
