hey guys!another abstract kind of mech im coming up with
i finished this piece this evening.....it is a bit out of date since it was lying in my hdd for at least 4 month now.... shame one me

I wish people would write more meaningful comments than, "This looks like Tau from Warhammer 40,000." I completely disagree with those comments anyway. Sure it's yellow with white markings. But there are no Tau markings and the mech is certainly not Tau style nor even something you'd find in 40k. I actually think it looks as though it's from Earth.
It's as if someone else has a blue skinned alien and people comment "This looks like a Na'vi from Avatar." 
Anyway, I have to say this is nicely rendered overall. Especially the shadows and highlights. The depth of field effects are fantastic.
It looks as if you rendered this with a 3D program and painted over it - I'm sure you didn't though. A nice job overall and congrats on your DD!

i couldnt agree more.
but we cant change it. poeple just tend to compare new things they see with old ones they know already. some poeple seem to be into warhammer too much then xD
i also painted an alien bust recently. although its a mech design they keep comparing it to mass effect creatures. kinda funny xD

This is really awesome. When a saw it I thought it was a Tau Battle (Warhammer 40,000) suite but it's deferent from those.

but i baught myself a funky caligraphy brush fro traditional sketches! awesome stuff i tell ya

i'm never good at handeling brushes especially caligraphy ones.

buy one and play around with it! after a while you can get used to it too!
i dud some sketches with it already! and cool that you can work with very thin lines but do really heavy ones as well
