The turret looks bigger and heavier than the hull. For some reason I like this. Makes sense if you've got a good power/mass ratio from your hover mechanism.
And that is one massive main gun.

It's a mecha from Robotech, it's used by the southern cross. Very similar to your hovertank.

got that,but meby you should take a look at some of the designs of armored core ,it has almost like all kinds of meach's and robots ,and thers some intresting character - robots there as the main hero's of the game it self

you got me wrong. i said that im familiar with the mecha design of armored core! i enjoyed watching the detailed rendered intro movies too. i just didnt happen to play their games you know
armored core is more my taste compared to gundam... gundam universe has some really awesome models too but i cant stand the flashy colors they have.....*pukes*
