Personality: Always the type to think before he acts, Finn favours intelligent planning and forethought over grandiose acts of heroics and rash decisions. That being said, Finn is happy to be a follower and leave the leadership role to those far more experienced and confident. He's not one to fight, preferring to talk things out or run if that's not possible, but he's not above fighting when someone is in danger.

Despite reassurances from others, especially his father, Finn has always doubted his status as lieutenant in the herd was anything more than for family pride. His loyalty to his family and to his mate, Fancy, keeps him bound to the herd, else he may have left to, in his words, 'reduce the burden' on others. Obviously, Fancy is quick to assure him otherwise and is often his voice of reason when he wont listen to others.

Although Finn is deeply in love with his darling Fancy, he has strayed and bred with other mares. He has been, at times, at war with his instincts. His commitment to Fancy sometimes being temporarily forgotten as the young stallion follows other drives. He can tell it upsets her when he strays, especially as he had made it clear he's devoted to her, and it only makes him feel that much more guilty about his actions. Soon he'll have to face the consequences of his actions as his progeny is brought into this world.

History: First born son of Ajax and Myrtle, Finn is the twin brother of Chloe. His mother named him after her older brother, Finnegan, who was taken from her birth herd by humans. Though he seemed the stronger of the pair at birth, Finn grew gravely ill within the first month of his life. The new parents were terrified, sure they were going to lose their son to the mystery illness. Fearing for the second twin's life, they tried to keep the foals apart so the sickness wouldn't take her as well.

Despite only being born weeks prior, the twins had already formed an intense bond. A bond that kept bringing the two together no matter how hard the adults tried to keep them apart. Eventually, it became clear that the illness was not contagious and that Finn seemed much stronger with his sister there to support him. After many months of struggling to eat and feeling weak, Finn finally recovered.

Finn's childhood illness left its mark on his body, the stallion's growth stunted so that even in his adulthood he looks like an overgrown yearling. This has always been a source of shame for the young stallion, and he struggles to feel confident in his own abilities. His father taught him to fight, knowing that he would someday need to and it was better that he be prepared. It came into play once when a stallion tried to steal his twin sister, Chloe, Finn charging in and helping his father drive off the stallion. It was after this that his role as a lieutenant was cemented, at least in the eyes of everyone else.

Until he met Fancy, Finn hadn't really felt a draw towards the mares in the herd. It was as though he had mentally placed any thoughts of a relationship or having foals into the deep recesses of his mind and closed it off. He didn't want his father to chase him out if he decided to try his luck with any of the mares. Despite his father's occasional pestering and probing questions about his feelings on the matter, Finn remained firm in his resolve not to feel anything beyond friendship.

That, of course, all changed when he looked into the pretty blue eyes of the human-raised mare. He resisted at first, but, after Avalon's accident, Fancy's need for reassurance and guidance in a world that was completely foreign to her opened the door for him. He didn't even realize he was falling for her until his father pointed it out. With clear approval from his father and mother, Finn reluctantly admitting his feelings to the mare, and he was shocked to find his feelings were returned. In the coming months, Fancy would fall pregnant with his first foal.

After he opened that door, it was like all the pent up emotion came out at once. Finn started to stray from his morals and loyalty with Fancy, first having relations with a mare from another herd, and later with mares in his birth herd while his father was away. He was never the one to approach them, but he struggled to resist the temptation if they initiated.

When Ajax was taken by humans, Finn was thrust into the role of lead stallion with very little notice. The weight of the responsibilities was almost too much for him to handle and he was cracking under the pressure as things just kept going wrong. He fought hard to keep bachelors from stealing mares, but he just wasn't strong enough. He knew it was only a matter of time before he lost the whole herd, so he did the only thing he could do, he hid them away.

Until his father returns, Finn will have to cope with being in charge of an ever growing herd.

Relationships:
Myrtle: Mother – Finn is a shameless momma's boy, spending quite a bit of time with his sweet mother and doting on her when he can. He often offers to watch his siblings so she can rest or chat with her friends. He does get a bit frustrated with her when she talks about Sybill's visions, but he tolerates it for the her sake.
Ajax: Father – His role model since he was a foal, Finn has always tried to emulate his father but felt like he will forever fall short. Despite this, he has a great relationship with his dad. His dad often pesters him with jokes, trying to get him to stop being so serious all the time - Its something Finn has secretly always appreciated.
Chloe: Twin Sister – From the time she was born, Finn felt a pull towards his tiny sister. He wanted to protect her, to stay by her side at all times. Though they grew more independent of each other as they reached adulthood, Finn dreaded the day that she left the herd. Watching her leave was like a kick to his gut, it felt like he was no longer whole. While Fancy helped to fill that hole, he still feels like a piece of him is missing, and he knows its Chloe that he misses. Some days he swears that he can sense her emotions, he can feel when she's upset, and when she's happy. He knows its illogical and against his own beliefs, but he can't dismiss it either.
Fancy: Soulmate – First mare he's ever felt any connection with and soon-to-be mother of his first foal. She makes him feel special and appreciated, and he practically worships the ground she walks on.
Faina: Confidant – A mature mare that he finds easy to talk to. She's always willing to lend an ear and give him comfort when he needs it. This played a part in their relationship turning to something physical, resulting in a pregnancy.
Sybill: Complicated – They've always had a strained relationship due to conflicting views. Finn is not a believer, and is often upset by the way some of the herd members, mainly his mother, believe wholeheartedly in Sybill's supposed visions. Yet, it was these same 'visions' that caused the normally timid mare to almost aggressively pursue him for a relationship. This has caused some tension between Finn and other members, especially Sybill's firstborn daughter, Jinx. Finn regrets this relationship the most and fears what his father will have to say about it when he returns.
Isabelle: Stalker - Finn has always been aware of Isabelle's feelings towards him, mainly because his sister pointed it out to him. He's never really felt anything towards her, even after he got with Fancy. Actually, he began to like her even less after that as she started to show her true colours. She was incredibly jealous of Fancy, at times being rude to her and other times almost stalking her. When Isabelle got with his father, it was crystal clear to Finn that it was a shot at him for not wanting her.
