(While Tempest and Dark Matter continue to talk and argue, the startled, shocked and horrified crowd of ponies and creatures including the new group of friends Twilight and the others made during their escapade beyond Equestria's borders could only watch on, feeling utterly helpless as they saw what happened to the Princess of Friendship and her court and be only more terrified to find out that everything involving Tempest and the Storm King was staged and part of Dark Matter's ultimate plan for revenge. The return of their world's greatest enemy could only render them speechless)

Tempest Shadow: Well, you haven't finished it this time. As soon as I can destroy you and the Staff of the Sanacas and reverse the effects of the Obsidian Orb you used on them, my friends will be free and use their powers to annihilate you, once and for all. And everyone who was affected by your crime and your world domination will be alright again, to be on the road to recovery and redemption, just as I'm doing so.

Dark Matter: Haven't I told you, ruling over Equestria doesn't matter to me if I don't have a deeper, darker purpose. For many months now since I was first crushed by my loathsome and most hated enemies, in addition to them, my additional and new targets...…. Have been you, Songbird Serenade, that cowardly Queen Novo, her naïve and foolish daughter Princess Skystar, that conman cat Capper and that outgoing backstabbing Captain Celaeno and her Pirate Parrots. How is it that a bunch of ordinary, lowlife creatures from different races in Equis were able to defeat a king who's labeled himself as a powerful demon before his untimely demise when my use is done with him? How did you all escape with nothing but mental scars of everything I've put you through and YOU with nothing but a stump of a measly wimpy little horn while you turned away from the Dark Side and back into the light and you weren't killed off when I was finished with you?!

Tempest Shadow: Why do you care how I escaped from the whole thing unscathed barring the wrongs I've committed? The Storm King was after your time when you swore allegiance to him before his death.

Dark Matter: The Storm King was my past today, you and those weasels are my present and with your deaths, I will be my own future. (Dark Matter revealed the Phantom Ruby and used it's powers to show a replay of the events from the villainess' eyes. The crowd and Tempest watched with terrified awe and growing shock and horror as everything that happened during everything Twilight, her friends, Tempest, Novo and Skystar, Serenade, Celaeno and her pirates and Capper from the views of their enemy was unfolded. When the flashbacks ended, there was a message in the ruby that showed Tempest, to her great horror and shock, that she and the Storm King as well as everyone else, were nothing but pawns in Dark Matter's quest for revenge and personal bloodshed: "I am your master." Everyone gasped in absolute horror and shock even though some tried to hide their emotions but were terrified underneath their tough looks. Tempest was dumbstruck and gob-smacked by this as she recovered from the daunting truth)

Tempest: You...…… So, it's true, you staged everything that happened to us all just so you can grab your one opportunity to immobilize and kill off Twilight and her friends to take revenge for what they've done to you...….. You really are a monster, you ARE the darkness from Megan Williams' heart!

Dark Matter: Surely, you didn't think I was going to remain in the shadow of that puny, excessively kind, heroic and weak-minded simpleton of my human counterpart for all time? No, I fashioned myself a new name when she and I finally separated, a name I knew one day everyone from far and wide will one day fear and dare not say when I become the greatest sage on the planet!

Tempest: My saviors, Twilight Sparkle and her friends, are the greatest sages in the world because they possess a magic that nobody else besides them would be willing to learn unless we join forces with them and take that one step towards a larger world together with a special magic - the Magic of Friendship! That's something you'll never learn and why you're doomed to fail again because of your black heart and you've always been alone your whole life! You're obviously the darkness in the Defender's heart so you'll be no more once you're destroyed!

Dark Matter: Your "saviors" are now DEAD and will soon cease to exist along with their cheesy and cringeworthy Magic of Friendship buzzkill by the mere return and magnified presence of me when I'm through with them!

Tempest: They'll never be gone! Not as long as those who remain are loyal to them and are willing to do anything and everything to protect them and our home to spread the teachings of friendship they've made to the world, even if we'll have to die to achieve worldwide peace!
