Making it look 3D like people draw stuff that looks like they took a photo in real life (I'm just stuck with lines until I figure it out)

Well, start with simple shading and lighting and work from there, take my art for example. I do simple shading but mold it into MY liking without it being TOO complex. Yet it's not easy to copy either.

But don't automatically go for realistic. Start simple and find YOUR style first. Don't go with a style that could take a while to master like realism. Start with finding something YOU like in styles. I did and went with it.

I do kind of know my art style but its hard to draw the same person perfectly every time with the same facial features, that's the hardest thing for me right now

Look up references then. Don't try to nail it on the first try, it takes practice. With me, I've been doing digital art for about.... between 6-8 years. Only for the past year or two was I actually serious about my art. Look up references, I did. Don't try to exactly copy off of YOUR art or from memory. If you can't remember how to draw something I suggest looking up a reference.
