Jim Mustang was a common criminal who was arrested for countless home break ins and numerous families he kept hostage for his personal thefts, but he would be caught by the police in be put in prison for life for all his crimes. However he would met Doctor Mindbreaker who was looking for special test subjects for a group he was putting together, one that would make the world bow to him, including a certain hero named Wonder. Wanting to get out more then anything Jim accepted the offer and Mindbreaker freed him from his prison, then Jim was subjected to a shard that emited the violet energy that created altered humans. Jim willingly exposed himself to the power and manifest metamorph abilities, he can stretch, shapeshift into anyone he can imagine and turn his body into anything he could think of, including weapons. Now Jim works for Doctor Mindbreakers Superior Society and serves as one of his thugs for stealth, thefts, and silent murders as Shifting Bandit.
