Backstory
Samuel Kanan Logan was like everyone else living in Marine City Nova Scotia, a university student who was still figuring himself out and what to do with his life. With his childhood friends Wendy and Eric he enjoyed a peaceful while still finding his future, what he wants to be and where to go with his life. Then everything changed with a celestial phenomenon called the Violet Hour, when the skies light up with a bright explosions, resulting the the skies showering with glowing violet shards. Finding one of the shards Samuel was exposed to a mysterious energy that changed his genetics, granting him something that has not been seen in decades, Superpowers.

He gain the ability to manipulate, absorb and redistribute energy, super strength, flight, enhanced durability, senses and energy blasts from his hands. Samuel had difficulty learning to control his powers but in time and with help from his friends he was able to master them, to use them. At first he began as a secret superhero, working to help people in need, but he was inexperienced and did not have much confidents in his abilities, which led him to make a terrible mistake. However with help from his friends he was able to muster the will to stop his very first supervillain and save his home of Marine City, and the world. But he would soon learn he was not the only superpowered person in the world now, there were others like him called Altered Humans, people who manifested powers from the Shards that held the strange energy. Worst of all there are those who wished to use their new found powers for sinister goals, which would harm people. Seeing the good he could do Samuel decided to make his exploits known, to become Marine City's protector and to help those who needed it most, to make his home a better place. With his friends by his side Samuel now strives to become an Icon of Heroism who fights to help people, who inspires people to be better and help show other Altered Humans they can use their abilities for something more. Now he fights evil as the worlds first new superhero since the first Age of Heroes, he is The Wonder.
