Characters etc. done (in a quasi-medieval, cartoonish style) for a board game 'Salernum', based on the history of the city of Salerno in Italy. The facebook page associated with the game, which was produced by Mara Montagnani, can be seen here:

middle row: Constantine l'Africano, Paolo Diacono, pope Gregory VII, princess Sichelgaita, Robert Guiscard, Archbishop Alfano.
bottom row: royal treasure, St Gaudioso bishop of Salerno, relics of St Matthew, duelling knights.

These were done a year or so ago.
