Description
November is National Native American Heritage Month in the US, so here are some of my indigenous characters from City of Heroes.

I wanted to make a Native American character similar to the Marvel character Ironheart, the teen tech genius Riri Williams who makes her own Iron Man suit. As I played around in the costume creator I went further afield from that idea.

Researching various Oklahoma tribes, I discovered the Kickapoo connection to the Wabash River in Indiana, where my mom grew up and I spent a lot of time as a kid. I named my dog Wabash; you can see her elsewhere here on DA. (She’s snoring away as I type this.)

As with Dragonlass, I borrowed Pellet’s surname from a current member of the Kickapoo nation.
