Obviously a pun on “crimefighter”, like my time-traveling cyborg Future Shock from back in the day, T1-M3 is somewhat inspired by The Terminator with a dash of the Rocketeeer. The jet boots and rocket wings look really cool when it flies.

In City of Heroes, Menders are time travelers, some voyaging across time for good, some for ill. Timefighter takes care of the latter sort.
