Flight: Just like NiGHTS and Reala and various other nightmarens, Dawn has the ability to fly freely, and pretty fast too. This is her main method of transportation and rarely ever walks. She can even perform the Drill Dash to give herself a boost.

Portals: Dawn has the unique ability of creating blue portals, usually oval-shaped, of varying sizes that go from the size of her hand to that of a building. The bigger the portal and the longer it stays open, the more energy it takes to keep active. These portals can hang in the air and be entered from both sides. If you were to enter portal A from the front bottom part, you'd come out of portal B's bottom front part and vice versa; and if you were to enter from the back of portal A, you'd come out of the back of portal B (visually explained right below). Can have funny results when two people enter both sides at the same time. Dawn can even go all the way to confuse people and flip a portal upside down and can choose which side is which. It doesn't confuse her, though, since it's like a second nature to her... most of the time. She can create portals within a big distance, but cannot make them go to somewhere she hasn't been to yet.

Scythe: A kawaii little girl with a hood wouldn't be complete without a scary weapon, would she? Dawn can summon this intimidating weapon with a portal at any given time. She can even go stylish with it! She will pull it out whenever she feels threatened or senses the presence of nightmarens.

Unlike NiGHTS, Dawn can't create Paraloops, shape-shift or dualize with Visitors. Though to compensate, her power even without that of the Visitors is very high by itself.
