It's this day of the year again… Seriously, by now I hate birthdays, at least my own. The past few years it was always just a reminder to myself that another year has passed by. This drawing kinda expresses how I feel at the moment. I really hate wasting time, and when I look back, I see a lot of wasted time. I could have accomplished much more in my life by now, but I'm procrastinating so much. Having 30 as my next big number the coming year doesn't help with that feeling.

Anyway… let's talk technical. I wanted to try out some new techniques on coloring and shading, so I looked around what digital artists draw and tried out to emulate a few things as vectors. This is the result of what I came up with, took me about 6 hours or so. If you feel really brave, you can try to open the SVG file.

And now excuse me, I gotta drink some beer and ignore that it's my birthday.
